What counts as a decision?

One new authenticated verification or analysis decision that is persisted. An exact-input network retry returns the stored result and is not billed twice; conflicting or reused idempotency keys are blocked. CONSUME, COMMIT and RELEASE transitions do not add another decision. Permit redemption and receipt verification are also included without an additional decision charge. Reporting and reconciling a provider submission does not create another billed decision.

Does the hosted API need card data?

It is designed not to collect or store card or bank credentials. Customers must not submit them. MandateShield evaluates bounded authority context before the merchant submits a payment; payment credentials stay with the customer's payment provider.

Can I cancel without contacting anyone?

Yes. Subscription, invoices, tax details and cancellation are managed from the automated billing portal in your dashboard.

Does permit redemption prove provider enforcement?

A fresh atomic redemption is the only response that unlocks one submission for an integrated facilitator. Replays never unlock another submission. This does not claim that every payment provider requires MandateShield. For configured Stripe PaymentIntents and x402 profiles, hosted reconciliation can independently establish exact provider-API or finalized-chain evidence and autonomously finalize the authorization. Pending, unknown or conflicting observations stay fail-closed; a manual processor result remains caller-asserted.
